Mom passed away at 1:25 PM, today (Tuesday). She was sleeping peacefully when her heart and lungs stopped functioning.
Bill and Juli were with her at St. John's hospice at the end; her wish was to not die alone.
Mom wants her ashes to be spread in the Wyoming mountain area around Lander and the Wind Rivers. We will let everyone know when this will happen so everyone who wants to, and is able to, attend can join us.
Our thanks to the St. Johns staff for their loving care of Mom and for their support to the rest of us over the last week and a half.
Mom's memorial ceremony will be held September 6, 2008 in the Wind River Mountains above Lander. I contacted the motels in Lander and the best rates were from Holiday Lodge, 210 McFarlane Drive, Lander WY 82530 800-624-1974.
